my not very successful carrot cake with cream cheese icing for mom's day ~
only frosted half coz grandma doesn't like cheese, or butter .. ~

oh and been craving mille crepe cake for a while .. FINALLY HAD SOME .. super yums ~oh and this was the sour korean nest noodles =) ~

~ hello tiring day isn't it huh ?
i'm sitting for a project management exam at 9.30 am and i haven't slept a wink all night ~ T_T my insomnia really has to stop , well all i can do now is a peace my rumbling tummy with mushroom soup ... lol the instant kind ~ sad ~

Since we're on the topic of food, i finally tried my korean instant noodles and it turned out ... different, it wasn't your normal instant noodles, it was this weird bird nest kind, and it turned out SUPER SOUR .. in a good way, if you like sour stuff. I was telling my mom i would sure crave for this taste if i was pregnant one day =) ~

hello, drinking "Ready Drinkable Yogurt" in grape flavour .. eheh ~ first time trying it and it's kinda yummy~ (calciYUM brand)

i realized today, something is a lil whacky with my camera, it suddenly offs by itself .. so i'm kinda sad =( .. maybe it's protesting ~ +p

lol the night were S dared me to put a Freddo the Frog tattoo on my cheek ... HAH ~ the terms was she put one too ~ lol ... i swear people either thought we were really crazy ... or that we just came back from promoting an event ... ~

i don't really know what i should do this year but i think i want to bake my mom a carrot cake .... her fave cake ever... i've never done one before and haven't baked in a while so i'm kinda or the outcome ... but whether it turns out good or not i'm sure to post some pics ... ~

i got to cook dinner tomorrow night too ... whats on the menu ?.. i dunno but it's sure going to be pretty simple stuff .. weird too ...~ wonder if the combinations would go together or not .. but like my dad told me, cooking is like painting a picture... just splash alot of colour and do not follow a recipe ... he never knows how it'll turn out .. (pssss that's why sometimes SUPER FAIL )
but honestly i love my dad's cooking ... would miss it loads if i ever move out .. . ~ men who can cook are sexy ... eww did i just write that after talking about my dad .. lol~ 0_0

gosh history test was suprisingly an easy one ... WAIT.... but yet i think i kinda skrewed up quite a bit ... history has never been my strongest subject, i remember when i used to hate it in highschool .. i'll pick geography and moral over history any day .. hahahah ~

i got to cure my insomnia .. ~ i don't really know what this post is going to be about coz it's more like a brain dead kinda moment for me ~ i feel very restless these day, the kinda of feeling like a premonition that something is going to happen , good or bad i have no idea ... but u know something is creeping around the corner to JUMP at you ~ 0_0 spooky i know ~

i just finish reading storm glass by maria V.snyder ... i must say it was interesting but not as engaging and exciting as her "study series" ... i really recommend the study series if your into the kind so suspense, fantasy, dramatic plot with only a tinge of romance=) (there are three books in the series, poison study, magic study and fire study)

i thought that Opal in storm glass lacked self confidence even thought her abilities were amazing, reminds me of someone i know ... the lack of self confidence part .. T_T but all in all i hated the fact that *spoiler* she got tricked by the bad "blue-eyed" guy for 3/4 of the book ... shows that in life everyone makes mistakes ... got me thinking alot ... ~
so if you do wanna have a holiday read .. do go grab your copy of poison study ~ =) i read it like a few months ago .. and i enjoyed it throughly ~ ... how yelena had to go through test and classes to become a poison tester ... interesting occupation .. no?
one thing i don't get is why do they have to make .. SO MANY VERSIONS of the cover of the same book.. 0_0 i thought harry potter had a few but this is just madness ~
my fave would be the 1st and 2nd ones though ... i hate when they place FACES on a cover or illustration, (on anything really).. it kinda ruins the whole point of a book ... the description of the character is what should guide your imagination to create the characters .. do you agree??

okay well next is about .. grocery shopping .. well i don't know about you, but grocery shopping kinda gives me a thrill .. as i said in one of my older post .. i just love the colours n smells n interesting stuff ~ hahhahaha i usually buy a whole lot of crap .. but the sections that usually keep me occupied are,
the cereal section, the pasta section, the noodle section (even thought i never buy instant noodles), the canned food section, soy milk section ( i can give good recommendations) ~ and well the cookie section ..
went all the way to puchong that day to get my family to try out the SIZZILING TAUFU recommened by S ... i loved it but my family and their "high standards" we're that impress .. they even mocked me -_- ,but then we went to tesco just opposite and well it was FUN ~ haha they installed new freezer and they look so nice and arranged (can't believe i'm talking about a supermarket)

well these are a few stuff i got out of my basket, to show ... tesco, creamy mushroom pasta. mushroom couscous, "wild" mushroom soup (which looks 50% more appetizing in the picture than it really does)... geeezzz must have been a mushroom theme for the night ~ and well soyfresh soymilk, the one without the gal's face .. loloh and there were these gingernut biscuits for sale, it's exp. date is next month so it was onlt RM 1.39 or something like that ... oh just bought it for fun .. but their NICE n SPICY ~

oh and i've been having a weird soup craving these days .. so got a can of tomato soup too ~ wonder if it's nice 0_0 i would prefer pumpkin though~
okay went out with S to the same place ... 0_0 just realized ~
yes as usual, first things first is FOOD ~!
we went to sakae sushi @ sunway .. and i have to EXPRESS HOW DISSAPOINTED we are about the place; how the quality of food has dropped dropped dropped since it just arrived in K.L (went to eat at the sakae @ ioi mall JUST the previous day, and my sakae salad was .. SUPER TINY ... totally cheated me .. )
well even though we look like we're happy, don't be deceived ... ~ S's soft shell crap roll was PATHETIC ... small and soggy~ and the unfair part .. the table next to us was a foreigner who ordered the same thing and it look so much bigger .. one thing i hate the most is double standards ~ >.< ... grrrrrrrr

poor S didn't enjoy her food at all ~lol this reminds me of Y for some reason~geez my pics suddenly stop uploading .. ~ whyyy .. whyyyy 0_0
gosh i guess it's a sign when blogger.com refuses to upload anymore of my pics ... -_-~
